What we offer
Party Wall & Neighbourly Matters
As professional members of the Faculty of Party Wall Surveyors, we are well placed to provide the full suite of Party Wall related services, including Building Owner appointment, Adjoining Owner appointment and Party Wall assessments during the design stage.
Access Agreements
Temporary access over adjoining land is a common requirement to facilitate the safe and efficient completion of construction projects, particularly where space is limited, and buildings are constructed in close proximity or abutting boundaries. We have vast experience in negotiating, preparing, and completing access agreements and hold the relevant expertise to ensure our clients comply with statutory legislation and industry regulations whilst ensuring both our client’s and the adjoining owners’ interests are protected at all times.
Scaffold & Crane Oversailing Licences
The encroachment of scaffolding on neighbouring land or use of cranes within the airspace of adjoining properties is often required as part of complexed construction projects where access is limited. In certain scenarios this can generate strong feelings amongst landowners and, therefore, it is extremely important that formal agreements are documented prior to such activities taking place. We have several years of experience in acting on behalf of Developers or Adjoining Owners in documenting or reviewing proposed agreements by way of a written licence agreement. Such documents clearly indicate the terms and conditions of the agreement and help ensure the respective parties’ interests are protected.
Boundary Disputes
Boundary disputes in England and Wales often emerge when neighbours disagree over the precise delineation of the boundary line that separates their properties. These disputes can rapidly escalate, becoming both complex and acrimonious requiring a structured approach to a resolution. With our vast experience in wider neighbourly matters, we provide bespoke boundary surveys designed to accurately determine the positioning of the physical boundary line and ultimately assist in the settlement of boundary disputes in accordance with the Boundary Disputes Protocol.
